Hierro Restaurant at Aguas de Villaharta

Hierro is a tribute to the cuisine of Córdoba and to the richness of the land around it. The restaurant revives old flavours, know-how and recipes, working with healthy, locally sourced produce tied to the Sierra Morena.

Created by chef Máximo Doval del Rey, the menu blends tradition and innovation to offer a Cordoban cuisine full of memory, emotion and character. Dishes such as chickpeas with pork trotters or tripe, salt-cod mojete, partridge broth and other traditional stews bring back aromas and sensations that are part of our history. The wine list nods to Spain’s different appellations, with the unmissable local Montilla-Moriles wines.

Seating just 40 guests, Hierro keeps the classic look of an Andalusian farmstead: a simple, cheerful space made for a leisurely dining experience in Córdoba.

At Hierro you can enjoy the full à la carte menu, but for those after a different gastronomic journey we have created two unique tasting menus: H2O, a path that flows like water, and FE, a more intimate, symbolic route.
